Our Story
Individually, we came to serve and play at a ministry called "Overcomers" in Irving, Texas at a church called New Beginnings. Little did we know, God was orchestrating our lives and initiating something that we believe is going to impact a generation. We began to catch a vision and with that vision came billows of passion that consumed us. So, we continued to serve and play as a praise and worship team. To the glory of God, altars were flooded with beautiful broken lives who were being mended by the precious power of God. It came to our attention that the more we prayed and played together, the more unified and at peace we became about moving forward as an official band. Needless to say, we surrendered to the obvious fact that God has joined us together for such a time as this.
Our Mission
We are called "Kingdom Road" because we believe that not only are we on the road to the kingdom of Heaven, but the kingdom of Heaven lives where we are. When the disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray, Jesus responded and said, "Father in Heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven." So with Heaven on earth is how we should live. The Bible also says that God inhabits and is enthroned upon the praises of His people. Therefore, when we play together as a praise/worship band we declare an atmosphere of Heaven and we do our very best to allow God to do whatever He wills. All it takes is one single, solitary moment in the divine presence of God and hearts are healed, minds are at peace, burdens are lifted and captives are set free. When God's presence comes, it comes with a purpose...to change lives for eternity. This is why we live. This is who we are.

I grew up in church, but as a kid I never fully understood the love of God. As I grew up I began to understand it more, grew to love and appreciate my life, and started to see myself the way God sees me. Now I'm very much involved in ministry through my remnant small group and leading people into the presence of God. God is my main priority in life, and I cant wait to take Him to the world!

My life is a testimony of the faithfulness of God. I gave my heart to Jesus when I was seven years old, and He's been my constant ever since. He's taken my passion for music, passed down through generations of my family, and called me to use it for His glory. My life has been and continues to be changed by spending time in His presence. Now I get the opportunity to travel with teams to different cities, different countries, and bring others to a place where they can connect with God and watch Him do the impossible! In all I do my goal is to pursue His heart, love His people and establish His kingdom.

I grew up in church but when I turned 17 I began hanging out with the wrong crowd and drifted away from God. This proves the saying, "show me your friends and I'll show you your future" to be true. Needless to say, I was consumed with an ungodly lifestyle. Sex, drugs, and rock and roll was as much of a part of my life as breathing. Then one day in 1997 I gave my life to Christ and have never been the same since.

Before Jesus wonderfully invaded my life I was engulfed in a sinfully chaotic lifestyle. I had no dreams or ambitions; rather, I had a serious identity crisis. At age eleven, doing drugs with family and friends was normal. It became a part of everyday life. Time went on then I dropped out of high school and went to jail for a while. But when I got out of jail, broken and hungry for truth, I walked into a spirit-filled, bible teaching church and encountered the love and power of God on March 23, 2002. Because of that one solitary moment in the authentic presence of God, I have never been the same since. After that, God began to show me who he has created me to be. Then I got my GED, graduated from a Christian University and now I'm in ministry leading worship, doing Christian Hip Hop, and preaching wherever the doors open.

Before I ever met the lover of my soul, I can say that I felt empty and lonely. My earliest memories are of domestic violence, abuse of drugs and alcohol and family disfunction to the fullest. Growing up, I didn't like myself; therefore, I didn't like anybody else. I spent all my time trying to make others as miserable as myself. At eleven, I encountered Jesus at a church camp. I was totally transformed and washed clean. Shortly after, I experienced drugs for the first time and got lost in that life style for many years. I have always had a passion for music, and at eighteen I said enough was enough and handed my life back over to God. I broke the cycle of broken marriages and broken families in my life and accomplished this only by the grace of God! Because of the choices my wife and I have made over the course of our twenty years together, I have the privilege of playing with my son in this band and getting to see him and my other two kids flourish in the blessings of God. Thank you Jesus for the gifts and talents that you've placed in me for your glory!!
